Fran Nordstrom Guild 2.0

Supporting Seattle Children's Uncompensated Care Fund Since 2017

Our History

The Fran Nordstrom Guild 2.0, also known as FNG 2.0, was founded in 2017 as a chapter of the Fran Nordstrom Guild. It was created to continue the original guild’s mission while focusing on involving young professional women and the next generation of advocates and fundraisers. We are a 100% volunteer-based 501(c)(3) non-profit focusing on raising funds for Seattle Children’s Uncompensated Care Fund.

FNG 2.0 is one of many guilds part of the Seattle Children’s Guild Association, which is the largest all-volunteer fundraising network for any hospital in the nation. The Guild Association serves as the umbrella organization for the guild.

What We Do and Who We Help

The need for uncompensated care at Seattle Children’s has skyrocketed in the past few years. In 2022, Seattle Children’s provided $260,659,000 of uncompensated care. In King County alone, Seattle Children’s provided more than $91 million in uncompensated care in 2021. This free or partially paid funding assures all children will receive quality care regardless of their families’ financial resources.

More s, in 2022, Seattle Children’s provided cared to more than 320,000 children, of which more than 50% identified as a child of color including Black, Hispanic/Latinx, Indigenous, and Asian children.

To help raise funds for the Uncompensated Care Fund, FNG 2.0 hosts an annual fundraiser. We invite hundreds of individuals who come out for a night of fun with a raffle, games, donations, and more.

Since our first fundraiser in 2017, we have raised nearly $200,000 for the Uncompensated Care Fund.
